Job Description

As an IT Associate at Marriott, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the hotel’s technological infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of computer networks, workstations, server systems, and related hardware and software. This role involves providing end-user support, network communication guidance, and implementing security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer networks and workstations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to LAN, WAN, and internet services.
• Assist end users and instruct personnel in system security and usage.
• Arrange and supervise the installation, modifications, and security upgrades of IT-related equipment.
• Oversee network disk space and make sure that data backup protocols are followed.
• Keep track of your technological equipment.
• Manage urgent technological concerns and forward significant issues to vendors or technicians.
• Make sure that safety regulations, company rules, and confidentiality guidelines are followed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• Certifications: None required.
