Role and Responsibilities
As an Automation Engineer at KAIRA Technologies, you will play a key role in delivering advanced industrial automation solutions. You’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial concept to final commissioning, and will work with leading automation technologies such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley PLC systems.
Key tasks include:
- Managing complete automation projects from start to finish.
- Developing systems using Siemens (1500 / 300 / 400 / 1200), RA (Control / Compact logix), Omron, and Mitsubishi PLCs.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA/HMI programming and panel design engineering.
- Selecting and executing VFD/Servo/DC drives based on project requirements.
- Setting up and managing industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, CC Link).
- Effective communication and collaboration with the team to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Frequent travel across India to manage and implement automation solutions on-site.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess:
- Education:
- A B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication, Instrumentation, or Information Technology
- OR a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication, or a similar discipline.
- Experience:
- 2–8 years of experience working in Industrial Automation with proficiency in PLC systems and automation engineering.
- Skills and Expertise:
- Practical knowledge of Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen Bradley PLCs
- SCADA and HMI programming experience
- Hands-on experience with VFD and Servo drive systems
- Knowledge of industrial automation protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profinet
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
