Eligibility
Candidates must have received at least 50% in Intermediate or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) in order to be eligible for TG-TET Paper-I (Classes I through V). The minimal score for applicants who are BC, SC, ST, or differently abled is 45%. AND complete a two-year elementary education diploma, a four-year elementary education bachelor’s degree (B.El.Ed.), or a two-year special education diploma.
OR
a minimum of 45% in senior high school, intermediate school, or its equivalent. Candidates who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled must receive at least 40%. Additionally, candidates who have passed or been admitted to a D.El.Ed. or D.Ed.
course before the rules were issued (23-12-2015) must pass a two-year diploma in elementary education, a four-year bachelor’s degree in elementary education (B.El.Ed.), or a two-year diploma in education (special education).For TG-TET Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII), candidates must have at least 50% of their grades in B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com.
Candidates who identify as SC, ST, BC, or differently abled must receive a minimum score of 45%. AND successfully complete a course toward a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.-Special Education).
